Thriasio Pedio Complex (Phase A)

Description

The project concerns the construction of a modern complex at Thriasio Pedio, in which the railway and freight activities currently carried out at facilities scattered around the capital will be concentrated. The transfer of these facilities to a single site, outside the residential fabric of Athens, will bring significant environmental and spatial planning benefits for the entire urban complex of the capital. The Complex in question will include: a marshalling yard, a container terminal, a customs office, a freight station, goods warehouses, a group of tracks for stabling wagons with dangerous goods, washing facilities, as well as all the installations necessary to serve the above activities.
