Academy
Training is a key pillar of Hellenic Railways’ development, strengthening expertise, safety and professional competence across the railway sector.
Hellenic Railways continuously invests in the training and development of both new and existing employees, helping to build a skilled, modern workforce for the railway sector.
Our training programmes combine theoretical instruction with hands-on experience, covering a range of disciplines related to railway operations, maintenance and safety. Through partnerships and modern training methods, our programmes evolve in line with the needs of the railway sector and the demands of emerging technologies.
Railway Academy
The Railway Academy is the centre for education and training in railway specialisations, combining theoretical knowledge, practical training and current technical expertise.
It has operated since 1991 at facilities in the Rouf area.

Training process
Training is delivered by certified and experienced staff of Hellenic Railways, the Regulatory Authority for Railways and the railway undertakings, in line with international standards.
