A network for everyone
Our goal is to create a railway network that is more accessible and welcoming to everyone, with infrastructure and services that support safe and equitable travel.
Find out about the accessibility facilities and services available to make every journey by train easier.
Access to stations
The accessibility infrastructure and facilities available may vary from station to station. Before your journey, you can search for your departure, interchange or arrival station on railway.gov.gr and find information on accessible entrances, ramps, lifts, accessible toilets, accessible platforms and other relevant facilities.
On the interactive map at railway.gov.gr, you can select the station you are interested in and view all available facilities in one place, as well as any limitations you should be aware of before travelling.

Moving around the station
For a more comfortable and safer journey, we recommend arriving at the station in good time. Where available, you can use accessible entrances, lifts, ramps, step-free routes and wayfinding facilities.
Always follow station signage and staff instructions, especially when a platform change or interchange is required. If any facility is out of service or you encounter an obstacle during your journey through the station, please contact station staff.
Boarding and alighting
Boarding and alighting conditions may vary depending on the station, platform and type of train. In some cases, the use of special equipment or assistance from trained staff may be required.
If you need assistance with boarding, alighting or support during your journey, please contact the railway undertaking operating your service in advance. The railway undertaking will inform you about the procedure, the meeting point and the required arrival time.
Facilities and services
Depending on the station, accessible entrances, lifts, ramps, accessible toilets, suitable ticket counters and wayfinding signage may be available.
Getting information before travelling is important, especially when your journey requires a line change, an interchange or the use of a specific platform.
Digital accessibility
Our goal is to ensure equal access to information for everyone. We continuously improve our digital services so that key information about stations, the network and travel is clear, easy to read and easily accessible from any device, including through the use of assistive technologies.
Before your journey
Before travelling, check the available facilities at your departure, interchange and arrival stations, and make sure that the infrastructure you need is available. Be sure to allow enough time for your arrival and movement within the station and, if you require assistance, contact the railway undertaking operating your service well in advance. Inform staff of any specific support needs and follow station announcements and signage. Early information and proper planning contribute to a safer, more comfortable and more independent journey.
