Underpasses on the Palaiofarsalos – Kalambaka line

Description

The project concerns the construction of two road underpasses at locations on either side of Trikala Railway Station, as well as the construction of one automatic level crossing protection system. Specifically, it concerns the construction of the underpass for pedestrians and small vehicles at the "Saragia" location of the Municipality, the pedestrian underpass at the "Gazelo" location of the Municipality of Trikkaioi, as well as an automatic level crossing protection system at Ch. 73+098 of the line in question. The project aims at the abolition of the existing level crossings and their replacement with grade-separated crossings, with the objective of the unimpeded and safe movement of pedestrians and vehicles on either side of the railway lines. The construction of the automatic level crossing protection system will ensure safety in the passage of both trains and vehicles.
