SKA – Treis Gefyres

Description

The project concerns the construction of a quadruple-track railway corridor, approximately 5 km in length, on the section from Treis Gefyres to the Acharnes Railway Centre (SKA), with signalling, remote control, telecommunications and electrification. Technical characteristics: Length of section: 5 km of quadruple track Design speed: 100 km/h Cut & Cover: 1,870 m in length Railway bridges: 8, with individual lengths from 10 m to 200 m, totalling 440 m Grade-separated pedestrian crossings: 5 Stations/halts: 3 stations (Agioi Anargyroi, Patission [P. Vasilissis], Kato Acharnes) and 2 halts (SKA and SKA – Acharnes within SKA) The project forms part of the wider works for the construction of the Attica Suburban Railway. the construction of substructure works for the Treis Gefyres – SKA quadruple-track railway corridor the completion of the substructure works within the zone of the Acharnes Railway Centre (SKA) the construction of the superstructure, signalling – remote control and electrification works for the full operation of the railway tracks on the Treis Gefyres – SKA section and within SKA. The works have been designed with a design speed of 100 km/h for the new quadruple-track corridor on the Treis Gefyres – SKA section the construction of railway stations on the Treis Gefyres – SKA section and the works for the installations and equipment of the stations (Agioi Anargyroi, Patission [P. Vasilissis], Kato Acharnes, as well as two halts, SKA and SKA – Acharnes, within SKA) The establishment of a new Traffic Control Centre at SKA E/M installations for civil engineering structures (cut & cover at Agioi Anargyroi & Pyrgouthi), vehicle/pedestrian crossings and open areas on the Treis Gefyres – SKA section. Remaining works required for the completion of the works on the section (such as works for the application of additional protection measures, reinstatement / landscaping of the surrounding area, archaeological works, reinstatement of public utility networks, etc.) The preparation of the remaining studies for the section in question The completion of expropriations
