Description

Construction of a new line (deviation) on the Polykastro – Idomeni section The project comprises the construction of a new line (deviation) on the Polykastro – Idomeni section, approximately 21 km long, on the Thessaloniki – Idomeni line, with electrification. completion of the expropriations of the land required infrastructure for a double standard-gauge railway line track superstructure for a single line at this stage installation of electrification on the deviation in question construction of the new Polykastro railway station and of the Mikro Dasos railway halt, as well as upgrading of the existing Idomeni railway station
