Athanasios Staveris

Athanasios Staveris-Polykalas is Chief Executive Officer and founder of Tools of Tech. He was Secretary General for Telecommunications and Post (2020–2023), leading projects such as the National Cybersecurity Strategy and Ultra-Fast Broadband. He has worked for the United Nations as an expert, at Intralot, and as CTO in Belgium. He holds a doctorate in Physics from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, an MSc from the National Technical University of Athens and an Executive MBA. He took up his duties on the Board of Directors of Hellenic Railways on 29 August 2025.
